College Bound provides a way for colleges and universities, large and small, to get directly involved in the lives of young elementary school children at an impressionable time which can literally change their future. Our program consists of four main roles:

  1. College Coordinator. At this level, a college coordinator will be an individual responsible for recruiting college student volunteers on their campus to be the mentors for the young elementary school students. The coordinator interviews each student volunteer, performs a background check (for child safety), and selects the best matches for the College Bound program.

  2.

  3. College Student Volunteer. Our college student volunteers, once approved, pair up with elementary school classes and go through the College Bound program with the children and their teacher. These students become the face of the college in the childrens' eyes.

  4.

  5. Elementary School. Each participating school is enrolled by its principal and then administered by participating teachers. School principals can view the progress and status of all College Bound programs at their school.

  6.

  7. Teachers. As a school is registered, teachers from that school may sign up their class to participate in the College Bound program.
